Thassodar Jax is Earth’s protector, assigned by the Galactic Rangers. But when four escaped alien criminals show up and humans go missing, Thassodar and Valentina, a nosy human determined to help, must find and apprehend the criminals and their mysterious ringleader in order to save the human race from being farmed and turned into pure energy for profit. And they must do it without revealing the broader galactic community to the sentient but sub-space humans.
